SUD was born from a passion for food, a taste for knowledge, and a quest for simplicity. It is a traditional tavern, but also a potential meeting point, a center for the dissemination of books and objects related to food, its history, and culture.

Zup has designed the furnishings of the space, creating a lightweight bookshelf with an extremely thin profile that enlivens the restaurant’s walls with its vertical lines. The chandeliers, Triennalina, Cupola, and Maccarone, were also designed by Zup as handcrafted objects characterized by the materiality of concrete.
