Client: Mostro
MOSTRO – Graphic Design Camp is an international festival dedicated to graphic art and visual communication and was conceived by Marco Williams Fagioli (Zup Design), Marco Sammicheli (curator for the design sector of the Milan Triennale) and Maria DiPierro (Meme Consulting). The festival took place in Milan during the course of Brera Design Days, from 2017 to 2019. Zup oversaw the art direction of the three editions, from identity and naming, to all communication tools (conventional and digital), as well as the event set-up. The third edition of MOSTRO was dedicated to Europe and the bridges that culture can build thanks to the input of inter-generational designers from diverse backgrounds, where politics and economics recede due to fear and speculation. Among the highlights of the event, the fortieth anniversary of the Mondadori Foundation and the editorial sci-fi series Urania, which inspired the visuals for the event. The festival was attended among others by Okolo, Salt & Pepper, Unirsm and Pavel Fuksa.
