Client: Effe

This custom Effe spa project takes shape around Petra, the new sauna + hammam system designed by Marco Williams Fagioli, which becomes the centerpiece of a 150-square-meter environment conceived to deliver an immersive, multi-sensory experience. Natural materials, enveloping lighting, and fluid architecture guide guests through a journey of warmth and coolness, where every space is designed to foster relaxation and inner balance. The atmosphere is defined by ancient-inspired visual narratives that weave across the architectural surfaces, evoking age-old rituals and dreamlike worlds tied to the millennia-old tradition of the sauna and the hammam. These illustrations transform the setting into a place suspended in time, enriching the experience with cultural and symbolic depth. Lighting plays a key role: suspended RGB fixtures, synchronized with the different phases of the wellness rituals, bathe the interiors in an intimate, elegant glow, filtering the outside world and heightening the perception of well-being. Completing the journey, the Effe Plunge Bath enhances the hot–cold contrast with a regenerating thermal impact.
